Roria Conquest EV Battle Calculator

Calculate EV training repetitions from your current value, target, gain and multiplier. See worked examples, rounding, overshoot and the tool's limits.

Quick answer

Subtract, divide by effective gain, and round up.

Subtract your current EV from your target, divide the remainder by the effective gain per training repetition, and round up. For example, a target of 252 from 0 at a gain of 2 takes 126 repetitions.

This is a planning calculation, not a database of current Roria Conquest opponents, item effects or hotspots. Examples use assumed inputs, not in-game tests or confirmation of the current EV cap. Define one repetition consistently: one defeated opponent with fixed gain, or a complete encounter with a known total gain. An average across different encounters is not an exact plan.

Walkthrough

How to interpret the result

Read the assumptions and boundaries before acting on the result.

How the calculation works

With current C, target T, entered gain Y and multiplier M: remaining EV = max(0, T − C); effective gain = Y × M; repetitions needed = ceil(remaining / effective gain); model overshoot = repetitions × effective gain − remaining. Reached targets need zero additional repetitions. Yield and multiplier must be positive. From 10 to 252 at 3, the remainder is 242: 80 repetitions add only 240, so the result is 81 with overshoot 1.

What “overshoot” means

Overshoot is extra gain projected by arithmetic beyond your target. It does not guarantee storage above an in-game cap, explain cap enforcement or remove EV. From 240 to 252, three repetitions at 5 project 255. To hit the selected target exactly in this model, choose a different verified gain for the remainder. The calculator does not pick an opponent or item. If current exceeds target, zero means stop adding more, not that excess EV was removed.

Avoid counting a boost twice

When your entered gain already includes a boost, leave the multiplier at 1. Applying it again inflates the gain and underestimates repetitions. This field is not an item selector: it does not establish Macho Brace, Power item or RoPower effects. Additive bonuses require an appropriate model, not an assumed multiplier. The 1× baseline uses the same entered gain; battles saved compares only that baseline with the selected result, not every possible route.

Keep the scope clear

  • Use the same stat and the same repeatable action throughout your inputs.
  • Do not enter EXP, Pokémon levels or displayed battle stats as EV.
  • Different opponents, changed modifiers or an in-game cap can invalidate the model.
FAQ

Common questions

Does this tool tell me the fastest EV hotspot?

No. It calculates from supplied inputs. No current hotspot ranking or live opponent database is built in.

Is EXP the same as EV?

No. Do not use EXP, levels or the displayed battle stat as input. These fields describe an EV target and EV gain for the stat being planned.

Why did the result become zero?

Your current input is at or above the target. The tool counts additional repetitions; it does not change values in your game.

Why can my actual result differ?

Fixed gain, a valid multiplier and consistent counting are assumptions. Different opponents, modifiers or caps may make them unsuitable; no result establishes current game mechanics.
