Roria Conquest EV & IV Training

IVs describe underlying potential; EV training allocates earned stat effort. Choose the stat first, confirm a current battle yield, then calculate the remaining battles.

IV check

Use IV information to understand a member’s starting potential. Training does not turn IVs into EVs, and a high IV does not decide which stat you should train for a particular role.

EV plan

The community training guide uses the six familiar stats and 252-point target examples. Because trainers and item behavior can change, verify the current yield before starting a long session.

Training method

Choose the job before the number

Begin with the role the party needs. A fast attacker, defensive pivot and utility member do not want the same allocation. Write down one or two priority stats, inspect the current EVs, and decide a target before battling. The separate community guide documents Roria-specific training locations and items, but those rows should be rechecked after changes.

Next confirm whether the listed yield is per opponent or for the entire trainer battle. This distinction matters: entering a full-battle total as a per-opponent value can make the estimated session much too short. If a Macho Brace, Power Item or other effect is involved, verify its current behavior and enter the resulting multiplier yourself.

The calculator uses transparent arithmetic. It subtracts current EV from the target, multiplies base yield by your multiplier, divides the remaining amount by that effective yield, and rounds up. It also shows overshoot so you can stop or switch targets before wasting the final battle.

Training loop

Check, calculate, battle, recheck

  1. 1. Record current EV and choose one target stat.
  2. 2. Confirm the opponent or trainer yield in the current community guide or in-game result.
  3. 3. Add the current training-item multiplier only after confirming it applies.
  4. 4. Calculate battles, complete most of the loop, and recheck before the last battle.

If the result does not match

Stop and compare an actual battle with the value you entered. Check for multiple opponents, an unequipped item, an unexpected multiplier, a target already reached, or a changed trainer. The tool calculates your inputs exactly; it cannot discover a hidden in-game rule.
